New Kids on the Blog
Day in the Life(style): Patricia
Patricia is an opera singer who is based in Manhattan and travels the world singing. We took a handful of photos with her in her music studio with music scattered around her. We also took a few of her reading some of her favorite books and novels. And then we took a walk in a nearby park (this park was so cool!) that has a really beautiful bridge that connects to The Bronx.
This is Inherent: Behind the Scenes Photos of NYFW Photoshoot in NYC

And the pieces from this collection are absolute fire. Our photoshoot started at Washington Square, wrapped around Chelsea and Little Island, then ended at Time Square.
Dan's Rainy Day Proposal at Top of the Rock
Two lovers, up in the clouds on top of the city. Dan was high on proposal nerves and worried that the clouds would obstruct the view, but after finding the right spot with an amazing cloud-free view, he pulled the ring out, got down on his knee, and proposed. And she said yes while everyone around them cheered them on and applauded their skyscraper love.
Mitra: Dessert and a Dramatic Selkie Dress
When you show up to your Central Park Photo Session in your birthday Selkie Dress with rhinestone Audrey Hepburn gloves on a freezing cold day in March, you can bet it’s worth it.

Outfit Styling: Why Blacks and Whites are not styling neutrals
I believe shades of black and whites can be neutrals depending on the person, which means each person needs to figure out which shade of black and which shade of white looks best with their skin type, hair, and eyes (and if you’re a fun creative person who really doesn’t care what colors you wear, these posts might not be for you, and that’s okay).
Question of the Week | What's Your Favorite Word?

How to Build a Timeless Wardrobe : Color Matters
Something I wish I would have known when I first started shopping for myself wayyyyy back in high school (2004?), was this: color matters.
How To Build a Timeless Wardrobe: Finding Your Color Palette
In efforts to encourage you to be more sustainable, to enjoy building a creative wardrobe, and to create a timeless wardrobe you LOVE, I’ve put together a few posts shining the light on HOW to create a timeless wardrobe. I do want to acknowledge that our bodies do change for one reason or another, and sometimes we have to let go of a carefully curated wardrobe to carefully curate another. I want to always encourage you to strive to minimize waste and to create a wardrobe absolutely LOVE.
Firstly, I’m 32 and I just found out what my color palette is a year ago. I’d had an inkling recently, but this past year I really nailed down my 7-10 colors (which has made shopping and putting together outfits SO much easier, it seriously feels like a burden has been lifted).

Remi Flower and Coffee Photo Sessions
One of my all time favorite snug corners is Remi Flower and Coffee on the East Side. It’s about a fifteen minute walk from Grand Central and it’s literally a breath of fresh air. To walk into a fresh flower and fresh coffee smell is divine. To be surrounded by so many festive plants and natural light is just the funnest. And because of Covid, they added the cutest Greenhouses outside their shop, and those make everything a million times more cozy and cute.
Now Offering Photo Sessions at Remi Flower and Coffee
Book a Professional Photographer for your girls’ trip to Remi Flower and Coffee. I’m now offering Hour Long Sessions at Remi + nearby landmarks (Grand Central and the Chrysler Building are only a ten minute walk away if you want some epic City shots). These sessions include a latte (or whatever coffee drink you prefer) for each person in your party. All you have to do is let me know how many people you have coming and what drink you’d like.

Hosting AirBnb Experiences in Central Park Has Brought Joy to My Life
I put together the most basic, fun, and “Stacie” experience I could think of: Coffee, Dessert, and Photos in Central Park. Fully expecting no one to sign up, except… they did. And after about a month of Photo Sessions, I’ve been able to meet so many cool people and do this really weird niche thing and really really enjoy it.
Paul and Hannah | Sunset in Central Park
Hannah and Paul were both goofy and giggly during our session, and I think their photos really show that.
Dessert and a Photo Session in North Central Park
I loved inviting Dillon and Andrew into my neighborhood, getting to know them, buying them an assortment of some of my favorite local desserts, walking them through some of my favorite parts of North Central Park, and snapping photos of them in a very Autumn-looking Central Park. It was a joy to experience the park with them.
Jasper and Melissa | Central Park Dog Photography
I spent an hour or two in Central Park with Melissa and Jasper and I love how their photos turned out. Sometimes slower walks lead to more play and a more relaxed session, which, in my opinion, always yields better photos than rushed sessions.
Autumn Photography Sessions in Central Park
I created the Central Park Photography Sessions to photograph and share the joy of one of my favorite places in this crazy city.
Couple's Date Night is Disappointing, but Photos are Magical
So, shitty date nights…. are another good reminder that for an idealist like myself, it’s important to keep expectations low in literally everything I do. I’m pretty sure idealists need a few reminders throughout the year to keep expectations low. This one counts for me. In fact, I’m happy to take this one for the team if it means saving someone else from date night disappointment.
