Hi, I’m Stacie Stine.

The creative girl with bangs who lives in the loud apartment always filled with laughter or loud music. I aim to inspire you to cultivate creativity and intentionality in your home, your wardrobe, your mental and physical health, and your relationships.

Stacie is sipping a Rose latte while sitting at a cafe table. Her head leans into her hand and she smiles at the camera.

Because I know you’ll ask…

Yes, My Mom’s Got it Going On.

My Blog invites you to…

…To be inspired to cultivate creativity in your own life. And I invite you into this space to read my stories, that you may grow in empathy, feel less alone, laugh your ass off, or be inspired to write down your own stories.

I mainly write about:

Small apartment living- I share about living in and decorating our 485 square foot apartment.

Fashion- I seek to encourage you to create a wardrobe style that reflects your you-i-ness.

NYC Living- Whether your live here or are visiting, I document our time here and share with you the best ways to navigate this super cool city.

Health- I’m open about mental health, seasonal depression, enneagram real talk, and living with vaginismus.

My favorite latte in New York City

The Rose Latte and the Berry Macha Latte at Remi43 on 43rd street! Just a quick walk from Grand Central Station

I’ve been a professional wedding, portrait, and lifestyle photographer for over a decade, a local Upper West Sider for five years, and a dessert lover all my life.

I love the intimacy of weddings and knocking elbows with people who are in deep real love. I love the hype of New York City and can’t get over how many spots there are to snag truly beautiful photos; taking photos of humans in this city is a dream come true.

And most of all, I love connecting with humans in this city. A slow walk, good talk, and a coffee or doughnut adventure (seriously, my husband and I are dead set on knowing where the best doughnuts in New York City are).

That first and foremost I am a relational gal; secondly, I am a creative.

I’m a welcomer, empathy giver, someone who cares, listens, asks good questions, and who gives her energy out to those she is with, whether I’ve known them for 2 minutes or ten years. I love winning people over and showing them they can be their real selves with me. Without a camera or a blog, I am relational to my core.

Can I steal you for a sec? Let me tell you all about my Shakespeare and Mario Kart obsessions.

Stacie Essentials

  1. I will show up to your kid’s birthday party if there’s cake.

  2. Shakespeare and Video Games share equal space in my brain.

  3. Pop Culture is my guilty pleasure. I have a special talent for running into celebrities in the city.

  4. I’m an Owala water bottle girl through and through because (literally) there is no way I could carry a Yeti through New York City without giving myself Carpal Tunnel.

Welcome to the Upper West Side

My husband, Brett, and I are in our mid-thirties (but everyone knows in New York City, your thirties are the new twenties). My husband is in the final years of getting his PhD at Columbia. Our dog, Tonks, is all curled up beside me sleeping, her favorite activity.

 Our love story

We were very much so two awkward people who met in college and fell in love. He shmoozed me with the way he played guitar and laughed at my jokes. I shmoozed him with my terrible dad jokes and hazel eyes. We dated long distance for two years, got engaged in a small coffee shop in Brooklyn and now we’ve been married almost twelve years and we’re always learning how to love one another deeper and wider.

These days you can find us canoodling and eating Peach croissants at our favorite cafe around the corner, Hungarian Pastry Shop, or walking our dog, Tonks around Riverside Park.

We even find ourselves offering wedding services to couples in love in New York City as a photographer and an officiant. We love to marry people and encourage them to keep moving toward one another in love, grace, intentionality and care. We are married people marrying people and really truly excited for them to tie the knot.
