The Every Day Bra

Human, throw your boob cages away, I've found an actually comfy bra that doesn't feel like a cage. Meet True and Co.

Humans, throw your boob cages away (I’m not sure people are burning them anymore?).

I’ve found an actually comfy bra that doesn’t feel like a cage or trap. I wear it all day (like, I forget I’m wearing it and don’t hit that point in the day I feel like I need to release the boobs). I would like to introduce y’all to True and Co Bras.

These bras look and feel a bit more like a structured and secure camisole. Maybe that’s why I feel so relaxed when I’m wearing it? Also probably why I’m okay with showing it to you— it hardly looks like a bra.

I found True and Co a few months ago, while I was looking for Bras with no underwire and a more relaxed fit. I wanted a bra that came down a bit farther into my torso, like a comfy looking corset (is that even a thing?). And this bra fit the bill.

The comfiest bra that makes my boobs feel like they are sitting on clouds.

True and Co actually reached out before I had a chance to purchase and asked me if they could gift me some of their bras to try. And I was like, dude, I was about to buy bras from y’all! That made my day. They sent me their Racerback bra and their Lift scoop bra . I usually alternate between these every other day.

After wearing them almost every day for two months, I’m spilling the tea on these comfy boob clouds (not traps, okay?).

Pros:

  • No underwire.

  • No bra lines under tshirt or tight shirts. I dont’ love seeing the outline of my bra through my shirt, this is personal preference.

  • Cozy stretch material and cozy fit.

  • With my usual bras, I’m ready to take them off around 7 or 8pm, but with these, I could accidentally wear them to bed.

  • Range of colors and inclusive sizes.

  • NO SIDE BOOB SNEAKING OUT.

  • Undies too! I tried a pair of their undies and think they were great for more of a thong-type outfit.

  • You can now purchase their bras on amazon and save on shipping. I get it if amazon isn’t your thing, but if you are a prime member, this might be the most affordable route.

  • Easy to wash.

  • You can wear them under white or light shirts and it just looks like your’e wearing a camisol, not a bra— I never like wearing nude bras under a white shirt because you can see the outline of the bra— that’s just not my flavor. I’ve been wearing these bras under all the white/light shirts and it’s not “obvious” at all.

Cons:

  • These particular bras don’t have clasps, so you have to be able to take them off over your head.

  • I’m grateful for no underwire, but there’s not as much lift as I was hoping for, but the fit is still great. If you like lift every day all the time, these probably aren’t the bra for you. But if you like comfy bras that have secure spots for your boobs, these are great every day bras.

  • In all the pictures, these bras appear to come down into the upper ab region. And they do. But the second you bend over or sit down, the mateiral rolls up. This is not something that bothers me, but I know this would be a deal breaker for some.

  • This isn’t a con really, but I cannot speak to how long this bra will last. It feels and has been really durable after me wearing it literally all the time. And if I had purchased both bras myself, I probably would have only purchased one, not two (because of the price- though with a sale, I would have probably gone for two).

My Favorite Thing About True and Co:

I never like wearing nude bras under a white shirt because you can see the outline of the bra— that’s just not my flavor. I’ve been wearing these bras under all the white/light shirts and it’s not “obvious” at all.

Have you found a bra you absolutely love? Tell me about it in the comments!
