Love You to Pieces | Pie Printable Holiday Activity!

Love you to pieces!
A fun Thanksgiving Craft for the family during the Thanksgiving Holiday!

It’s autumn (check out those Texas leaves, y’all!), so, let’s talk about pie.

Pi day— HERE FOR IT.

Shepherds Pie— FIRST IN LINE.

Waitress— SONGS ABOUT PIE!?

November— EVERY DAY LOOKING FORWARD TO EATING PIE AT THE END OF THE MONTH.

Y’all, this greeting card is a pie with spinning pie slices. I’ve been looking forward to sharing this project (scroll down to the bottom of this post for the free template!) with you for SO many months, because I just think we all need a little something extra to make while we eat our pie on Thanksgiving!

Once you’ve made your Pie greeting card you can put it on the fridge or send it to a friend who needs a little Pick me up!

Because I am not the kind of blogger who can write out instructions accurately, I’ve put together a video for you explaining the step by step instructions on how to put this together! It’s a show and tell of sorts! You’ll get to watch me put together the whole project! The whole project takes only about 15-20 minutes, if that!

Speaking of pie….

Have you seen my Holiday Lattes + Pie Sweatshirt I’ve been wearing constantly? I’m all about the pie this year (You can buy a sweatshirt just like mine here to wear during Thanksgiving and heck— you should probably just wear it into Christmas too.

You can download your FREE template for this project here.

What you’ll need for this project:

  • Scissors, Printer, 3 sheets of Paper (any kind is fine), a little bit of tape, an exacto knife and cutting board if you have them (sometimes I use cardboard if I can’t find my cutting board).

Steps for Making Your Own Card (as seen in the video attached to this post):

  1. Download and print the Free PDF I’ve linked above.

  2. Cut out all the red lined areas.

  3. Follow the video instructions to create the spinning mechanism.

  4. Tape your card and the mechanism together to make sure it spins!

And let me know here in the comments what your favorite pie is— and if you’re a cake person, I forgive you— let me know what your favorite cake is. :)
