A Felt Koozie That Helps Me Keep Track of How Much Water I Drink | DIY

Four glasses a day! Or three water bottles! That’s how much water I need to be drinking every day.

I feel like I hear it all the time— drink more water. You’re less likely to get sick. You stay more full. Your have more energy when you’re drinking enough.

Part of growing up and considering how I can love my body is trying to figure out how to keep myself accountable to drink more water.

I can tell you how I WON’T keep myself accountable. Apps.

Nope. I do SO much on my phone already, I really don’t any more reasons to be on my phone. I don’t want my phone reminding me to do something. I really want to make a conscious effort to drink the water on my own.

SO, I dreamed up a koozie tracker. And, thanks to my interactive numbered water koozie, I’ve been drinking a lot more water!

Every time I drink a bottle or glass of water, I move the arrow to the next number. My numbers are in roman numerals. I love how easy it is to move the arrow and see my progress! What do you think? Is this a good way to track my water consumption?

Glass Koozie

I’ve been wanting to keep track of how many water bottles I drink during the day, but really didn’t want to use my phone to keep track. So I dreamed up a koozie with the number of glasses I should be drinking on a daily basis. And then I created a moveable arrow to slide back and forth between the numbers.
